Besides, the court also rejected her complaint lawsuit against IRGC about their use of excessive force on November 26, 2016, when they raided her father's home while pretending to be transferring her to Tehran notorious Evin prison to begin serving her seven years prison term.
The imprisoned anti-death campaigner was given the court decision at Evin prison on February 14, 2017, the news agency added. She has objected to the decision and diligently asked for a judicial review of the complaint against IRGC.
Atena is being held in prison on a seven-year sentence. She was accused of new charges due to the counter complaint, BCR Group has learned. The new "lawsuit" against Atena was filed by Sarallah headquarters on December 19, 2016 at branch 4 of Evin Prison's Shahid Moghadas Court. According to the reports, the accusations against her include: "insulting the Supreme Leader and other authorities of Iran", "spreading false news through her Facebook posts", "resisting arrest", and "beating agents while they were attempting to arrest her".
On February 15, 2017, her sisters, who have been accused of some vague charges at the same court, were acquitted in the charges which had been filed by the IRGC's Sarallah headquarters.
